Herne Bay High Specialist School and Sports College is a mixed ability Foundation school, with designated Sports College status, situated in Herne Bay, Kent, England. The school currently has on roll over 1,500 students.
The school was founded as Greenhill Secondary School, at queens Road, Herne Bay. Later the school moved to its present site in Bullockstone Road. On September 1st 2000 the school became a Foundation school and control was passed from Kent County Council to the Board of Governors. Exactly three years later on September 1st 2003 the school became a Specialist school and Sports College. Year groups consist of year 7-13, (SIXTH FORM). Dr C. Owen is headteacher.
